FAQs About SYSTANE® and Dry Eyes

 

 

    Contact lens wearers can use Systane® HYDRATION UD Preservative-Free, Systane® ULTRA (10mL), Systane® ULTRA Preservative-Free (10mL) and Systane® Lid Wipes. When using other Systane® products, we recommend waiting 10 minutes before inserting your contact lenses.

    Systane® products are manufactured in the USA, Singapore and France.

    We do not sell directly to consumers but Systane® products can be found at all major retailers and pharmacies. If you don’t see the product you want in stock, see the retailer or pharmacist and ask them to order it in for you.

    No. Systane® products can be stored at room temperature. Check the product label for information on storage condition. 

    No, we do not recommend using our products after they expire. Always check the product label for information on expiry date. 

    Dry Eye happens when the tear glands stop making enough tears, produce poor-quality tears, or the tears evaporate too quickly, causing your eyes to feel dry and irritated. You can learn more on our About Dry Eye page.

    Often, a variety of factors can combine to contribute to Dry Eye. But most Dry Eye symptoms can be caused or exacerbated by age, environmental factors, hormonal changes, surgery or certain medications. You can learn more on our Dry Eye Causes page.

    While dryness is the most common symptom of Dry Eye, some of the other symptoms are not as straightforward.
